Gateway airports

For most itineraries we recommend Luis Muñoz Marín International (SJU), the main airport and the airport of entry for international arrivals. Isla Grande (SIG) is a smaller general-aviation option for smaller jets. Closer small airports exist near Fajardo and Ceiba, but whether a given jet can use them varies, so we check before recommending one.

Distance decides the aircraft. The table shows a suggested category and an approximate flight time from major cities. Range, payload, weather and winds change the final plan, and some long routes call for a fuel stop. We confirm both before you commit.
