From celebrated chefs to familiar faces, a memorable weekend at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
The 2026 Casa de Campo Food & Wine Festival, held October 9–10, brought together celebrated chefs, exceptional wines, and visitors from across the United States for a weekend of wonderful food and good company.
For Casa de Campo Private Jets, established in 2019 through our private aviation firm, The Private Coterie, the festival was an opportunity to reconnect with longtime clients, meet new residents, and introduce our private jet charter services to guests visiting Casa de Campo.
And judging by the conversations at our booth, it was certainly a Texas weekend. We met several guests who had flown privately from Texas to the Dominican Republic for the festivities.
The Festival
The fourth annual festival welcomed an impressive lineup of culinary talent, including renowned restaurateur Michael Mina, French chef Hubert Keller, Joe Isidori of Black Tap, Top Chef finalist Adam Pawlak, and Dominican chef Gabriel Tejada of Tenú.
Between live cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and the Grand Tasting Pavilion at the Marina Riverside Center, there was plenty to enjoy.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the festival was another reminder of what makes Casa de Campo such a beloved destination.

Since 2019
In 2019, we established Casa de Campo Private Jets, recognizing the steady flow of private aircraft arriving at La Romana International Airport (LRM/MDLR), also known as Casa de Campo International Airport.
We saw an opportunity to establish a dedicated private aviation service for Casa de Campo residents and guests, one that begins long before travelers arrive at the resort.
As a private jet charter broker, we work with a worldwide network of aircraft operators, comparing aircraft availability, cabin configurations, safety credentials, and pricing.
Whether arranging a private jet from New York to Casa de Campo, a charter flight from Miami to La Romana, or a private flight from Texas to the Dominican Republic, every trip is arranged individually, without memberships or long-term commitments.
Beyond the Resort
One of the most rewarding parts of the past seven years has been seeing how our relationships with Casa de Campo residents have grown.
Many clients first contacted us to arrange a private jet charter to the Dominican Republic. Today, those same clients trust us with their private aviation arrangements far beyond Casa de Campo.
In an industry with no shortage of charter providers, we believe the reason clients continue working with us comes down to trust. We’ve always valued long-term relationships over individual transactions. That means offering transparent, thoughtful aviation advice, even when our recommendation may not result in a booking.
“Earning their trust year after year means considerably more.”

For us, earning someone’s business is important. Earning their trust year after year means considerably more.
From New York to Miami, Toronto to St. Barths, Boston to Aspen, and Austin to New York, our clients know they can reach out whenever they need to fly.
Through The Private Coterie, we arrange everything from smaller turboprops and light jets to heavy jets and ultra-long-range aircraft.
The People
While the food and wine were certainly highlights, our favorite moments came from the people we met.
One of our beloved clients, who has been with us since the very beginning, stopped by our booth simply to say hello. It was a brief visit, but one that meant a great deal.
And then there was a particularly unexpected highlight: meeting someone who went to high school with Selena Quintanilla’s niece.
Absolutely nothing to do with private aviation, but everything to do with the little girl in me who grew up singing Selena’s songs. Before I was a private aviation specialist or a business owner, I was that little girl.
We also enjoyed meeting new Casa de Campo residents and visitors, including several private aviation travelers from Texas.
